To date, 58 species have been used by hybridizers to produce the close to 1000 named Vireya hybrids. Selecting a species name from the table below will display a list of all the hybrids containing that species in their parentage.

An asterisk, *, following a hybrid name indicates that at least one other species has also been used in that side of the cross; either forming part of the seed parentage or part of the pollen parentage, as indicated in the list. In some more complex hybrids a particular species may be present in both sides of the parentage of the given cross.

The 'Parentage Unknown' section lists those hybrids where details of the cross are not available. Many are older hybrids whose origins were either not recorded or where the relevant information has subsequently been lost.

The section 'Awaiting Parentage Details' lists those hybrids whose parentage details have yet to be published.
