Leaves - elliptic - 1.5 x 0.8cm
Flowers - tubular - red in var. oreites - 1.7cm - solitary
Location - W. New Guinea: Lake Habbema; Mt. Jaya - 3000m
Epithet - sp: "oreites"= mountaineer; var:"chloro"= green, alluding to the colour of the flowers.
