1 'Tatiana' Is named after a tiger at the San Francisco Zoo. It is a tall, rangy azalea with large salmon and white "tiger striped flowers".
2 Raspberry –purplish pink flower color
3 Crosses of our best plants.  Mixed seed.
4 This cross produces bushy, heat tolerant plants.
5 This cross produces dense, compact, heat tolerant plants, some with large white bell shape flowers.
6This cross can produce some very heat tolerant williamsianum-like breeders. We find it more useful, than R. williamsianum, as a parent in our hot dry climate.

1 (SM 149 x SM 189) x SM 30 is a cross by Dick Cavender that has large flowers, good yellow, and frills. SM 30 was discovered in their first year of exploration by Brit Smith and Frank Mossman. It has yellow splotches on all five petals.
2 DD12 is a Smith-Mossman find with a flower that has a lot of pink in the flower and has been determined to be a tetraploid.
3 SM 232 is a very colorful (yellow and pink) Smith-Mossman find.
4 502-like is a Smith-Mossman find that is a very good picotee. There is no picotee in the first generation cross with a non-picotee.  Britt Smith believed that the gene for picotee was recessive.
5 SM 247 is a Smith-Mossman find that has a lot of yellow on the three top petals. The plant (502-like X SM 247) 06-1 is from an earlier crossing.
6 TTBY is a Tom Tatum Bright Yellow, found on Stagecoach Hill by Tom Tatum. It is somewhat distorted but has a great deal of bright yellow.
7 The cross of DD 12 X SM 30 was made by Dick Cavender to get a larger colorful flower. He has registered it as 'Frank Mossman'
8 The flower 2406 was found on the Old Coast Road just north of Gold Beach. It has a lot of pink in the flower and yellow splotches, but not as many as SM 30, on all five petals.
9 SM 28-2 X SM 28-3 is a double flower with both parents being similar, double flowers.
10 The cross of 2406 X SM30 was made to get more pink and yellow on the same flower. The cross (SM30 X 2406) 5-01 is a selected plant from an earlier crossing.
11 3303 is a low growing plant on Low Divide Road in Del Norte County, California. It has a lot of deep pink on its petals.
