Elepidote Rhododendron: 'Roseum Elegans' Flower rosy lavender with reddish-brown dorsal spotting, ages to pink, funnel-shaped, 2⅜" across. Ball-shaped truss holds about 20 flowers. Blooms late midseason. Leaves elliptic, olive green. Dense and spreading plant with great vigor. Tolerant of heat or cold. Grows to a height of approximately 6 ft. in 10 years. Plant is cold hardy to -25°F (-32°C). Hybridized by Waterer. |

Lepidote Rhododendron: 'Chapmanii Wonder' Flower openly funnel-shaped, wavy to frilly edges, bright lavender pink. Open truss holds 5-6 flowers. Blooms early to early midseason. Leaves elliptic, obtuse apex, cuneate base, scaly indumentum. Tolerant of heat and humidity. Grows to height of about 5 ft. in 10 years. Cold hardy to -15°F (-26°C). Hybridized by Wada. |

Evergreen Azalea: 'Chojuho' Flower single, deep red changing to reddish orange to brownish orange, small, narrow, strap-like reflexed lobes sometimes with yellowish blotch, 1" - 1½" across. Blooms early midseason. Leaves are lancelet to elliptic, about 1" long. Compact, dense habit, with a spreading to rounded form. Typical plant height in 10 years is 3 feet. Plant and bud hardy to -20°F (-29°C). Hybridizer is unknown. |

Deciduous Azalea: 'Snowbird' Flower white with slight pink flush, tubular funnel-shaped, fragrant. Blooms early midseason. Leaves blue-green, orange with red and yellow tones in fall, deciduous. Resistant to powdery mildew. Compact, rounded growth habit. Shrub grows to approximately 4 ft. in 10 years. Cold hardy to -15°F (-26°C). Hybridized at Biltmore Gardens. |
