Tom Tatum Yellow Standard has a large, all yellow standard with a lot of yellow on the adjacent petals.
The plant SM30 was discovered in their first year of exploration by Britt Smith and Frank Mossman. It has yellow splotches on all five petals. It has the most yellow R. occidentale yet found in the wild.
SM247 is a Smith-Mossman find that has a lot of yellow on the top three petals. The plants (SM30 X SM247)06-1 and (SM30 X SM247)05-1 are from earlier crossings.
HS #5 is a Howard Slonecker find that has some, but not a lot, of yellow on all five petals.
The plant 2406 was found on the Old Coast Road just north of Gold Beach. It has a lot of pink in the flower and yellow splotches, but not as many as SM30, on all five petals.
The plant (SM30 X 2406)05-1 is a selection from the cross with SM30.
SM104 is a Smith-Mossman find that has seven petals on most flowers.
"Big Frilly" is a Dick Cavender R. occidentale unregistered cross with large, frilly flowers.
