Flower / Truss Description: 

Flower funnel-shaped to funnel-campanulate, about 2" across, deep red to light pink, bicolored or white, with sparse red spotting. Compact trusses hold 12-20 flowers. Often blooms in December.

Foliage Description / Plant Habit: 

Leaves elliptic, oblong or oblanceolate, 5" to 7" long, dull, mid to dark green with thin indumentum. Variable habit. One of the oldest hybrids from about 1835.
