Northeast facing stony slope, alt. 500m, rhododendrons on the rocks under the birch-trees, 1.5-2 m tall, dark-green leaves are turning dark-red and yellow-red, secondary blooming (single pink flowers, 3 cm in diameter), seeds from several plants growing in a group.
