Flower openly funnel-shaped, slightly wavy edges, 1⅛" across, strong red, darker in throat. Lax, ball-shaped truss has 6 flowers.

Foliage Description / Plant Habit: 

Leaves elliptic, cupped under at the edges, heavy textured, about 1" long, glossy, mid green. Turns bronze to red in cold weather. Habit is upright and spreading in tiers.
